How do you use Facebook?

  1. This is really interesting. They had a big discussion about Facebook at Traverse yesterday – it is amazing how many people feel the same about the engagement. Thank you for sharing with #PoCoLo x

    • Love the feedback Vic, thanks! I’m going to post the specifics of the people who are ’blown away’ by the response to their Facebook page… What are they doing? 🙂

  2. I really need this right now, I’m really struggling with facebook and need to decide which way to go. I’m bookmarking this to refer to when I have 10 minutes to digest.

  3. Facebook frustrates me at the moment. They limit so much of what they show to people unless you pay! Interesting post huni. Thanks so much for linking up to #TheList x

    • Love the feedback Aby! I totally agree!! I’m toying with a few cunning ideas to get around this one!! Will see how they work & let you know 😉

    • Haha! …There are wise people who also say, manage the channels you have and manage them WELL before branching out all over the place and not really kicking it anywhere! 😉
The interesting thing about Facebook is that bloggers and entrepreneurs really rank it very highly in terms of the traffic it brings to their sites. That’s definitely a reason to seriously consider it.
Which social media platforms are you on now?

  4. Very interesting!
Glad to see that so many others aren’t getting the results they’d hoped for! I’ve been scheduling Tweets but just wingibg it on FB – need to be more strategic!

  5. Thanks, it’s interesting to see what others are doing. I have also tried to improve my strategy after reading your other post. In still not posting as consistently as I know I should be though. #PoCoLo

    • Morna, that’s a fantastic step in a strategic direction & THANK YOU for the feedback 🙂
Are you using a buffer, hootsuit or another platform to help you schedule posts in advance too, or are you doing it all manually?
You comment has made my day! #StrategySaturday is ALL about doing this stuff together!

  6. I’m one of those that are winging it on FB. I really don’t understand how people get to be so popular, my motto is always must try harder, then who knows how FB really works?

  7. I’m definitely in the winging it category lol So little time in the day to be fully immersed and know the intricacies of all social media, not while holding down full time work.

    • Ashley, I totally agree!
I’m in the process of trying to figure out exactly how much time it would actually take to be active and strategic on each of my chosen channels… It’s no easy calculation! I really believe strategic consistency is key. Not just doing something once and spending so many hours doing it that you don’t have time to do it again until 5 weeks later, piecing it together bit by bit, making implementing strategy a habit 🙂
blah blah blah – I love this topic!

  8. Very interesting to find out what others are doing. I am trying to improve my Facebook strategy after reading your facebook strategy post, not noticed any changes yet, but it’s only been a few days. I’m looking forward to hearing more, thank you for sharing 🙂
